That man was created in image of God, and voluntarily transgressed the Lord’s command, and thus the Great Fall of Man from the Author of Life and the curse was created. The consequence became spiritual death and sinners alienated from God; in doing so, all fallen mankind is in condemnation and spiritual death. Fallen man is of his sinful nature, void of holiness, children of wrath, set apart for Wrath and helplessly bound to evil and eternal ruin without the ability to save himself.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden. And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat. And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. - Genesis 3:6-24
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. - Romans 5:19
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. - Ephesians 2:1-3
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Romans 1:18
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1:28
The Great Fall Of Mankind is a subject that can be called at least a travesty
Before The Fall, there was no death - separation from the Living God - and there was no sin, no evil reigned - everything was in its place.
Somewhere in the beginning, possibly as THE LORD GOD, declared: "Let Us make man in Our Own image" Lucifer the ark angel of worship, attempted, a take over by deceiving Adam and Eve into rebellion. It was the equivalence of holding a gun at the children of God, using them as a human shield.
As THE LORD GOD stared at Lucifer as any parent would stare at someone who just molested, their child, the rage that birthed hells flames was lit.
However, Lucifer had Adam and Eve and all of us inside them in his rebellion as well. At this moment THE LORD GOD set into motion the punishment of the Devil and all those who freely follow him and the redemption of mankind who turn from darkness and receive the love of the Light -
"He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15
Many question why did God let the Devil into the Garden? - the answer is - He didn't, He let Lucifer the ark angel of worship in. And the worse betrayal we humans know of was committed.
This event birthed the curse and evil we see today in the world - THE LORD GOD
Rebellion in authority is what births rebellion from authority
In the multiplying of the righteous the people rejoice, And in the ruling of the wicked the people sigh. - Proverbs 29:2 YLT
I’m convinced this is connected to the laws of sowing and reaping as well as just good wholesome behavior that righteousness exudes in a community.
Many rebels I have ministered to over the years have often said their parents, their pastors, their teachers — or some other type of elder and steward of their well-being abused them and were unrighteous to them, from the icky stuff to favoritism.
The former will be exposed in this life or the next and it will be better for them to tie a millstone around their neck as the Master said — that judgement is above my “anointing scale”, however, the latter is a part of life — win with class, loose with class. It shows emotional intelligence and may change minds of others in the long run - but most importantly God sees.
Many have developed a root of bitterness in them that filters every thought, word and deed and no reasoning will change their minds — only a work of God will do.
When the leader is compromised, even exploits their position — God given or people given — and they conspire with others to rewrite the truth, they activate rebellion in their children and subordinates.
This ripple effect is seen today in race, sex and classism — it has cost lives and only when we bow down and pray, repent — even on the behalf of others as Nehemiah did — see Nehemiah 1:4–11 We can rebuild the wall and heal.
