The Antichrist spirit is accelerating as prophesied. Eschatology (the study of end-times Scriptures predicting the last days of this age) addresses what we have just entered into at this point in history.
For time sake I’ll bracket my commentary to emphasize exactly what the Word of God is saying:
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [NOT THE SECOND COMING BUT THE RAPTURE] will not come unless the falling away[THE GREAT APOSTASY]comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition[THE ANTICHRIST],
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he [THE ANTICHRIST] sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he [THE ANTICHRIST] is God — 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 NKJV.
I want to point out what the Apostle Paul clarified as to when the Antichrist will be revealed so you don’t waste your time and money on books of who the Antichrist is— it will not be revealed until after the Rapture.
6 And now you know what is restraining [BODY OF CHRIST— THE CHURCH], that he [the Antichrist] may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness [the spirit of the antichrist] is already at work; only He [THE BODY OF CHRIST—THE CHURCH] who now restrains will do so until he [THE BODY OF CHRIST—THE CHURCH] is taken out of the way [THE RAPTURE]. 8 And then the lawless one [THE ANTICHRIST]will be revealed—2 Thessalonians 2:6–8.
THE FALLING AWAY:
Also referred to as the Great Apostasy
In verse three—The Scriptures indicates that the end times will be preceded by an apostasy (a departure from the truth).
WHY WOULD THERE BE A GREAT FALLING AWAY?
The Answer is a Pre-Rapture persecution. As the Muslim invasion takes over they will impose a Jizyah (or Jizya) a type of tax for non Muslims. Only the very prosperous will buy themselves time by paying this tax. When the culture around them changes and they can no longer buy, sell or trade they will have three options— convert or die or go underground.
This Muslim invasion has been discussed at one point it was referred to as “revolutionary” However, I probably would have used the word “imperialism” rather than “revolutionary”. This will will be a complete take over POST RAPTURE— However, We, the Body of Christ “who restrains” can hold this Antichrist spirit back by the authority of the believer to bear eternal fruit for the Father. One more last Great Awakening within this last decade or so of the Age of the Church.
SCRIPTURES AND INDEPENDENT SOURCES TO UNDERSCORE THIS DOCTRINAL POSITION:
1 John 4:3...this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world — not THE Antichrist “the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition” but the spirit of antichrist. And this is what the Bible has been saying for over two thousand years.
JIZYAH:

Anytime we pay our taxes we get a receipt— in the Great Tribulation that receipt will be a mark (on head or hand). Pre-Rapture, this is already in effect in areas where the Muslims dominate. Nonbelievers in Christ just want to protect their family, home and business— so they pay this tax. However,
1 John 4:3 — "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."
1 John 2:22 — "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."
2 John 1:7 — "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."
