GOD

I believe, proclaim and teach:

That there is only one living God. He is absolute Love and absolute Truth, perfect in attributes, and holy in character. He is the Creator of everything. He is immutable (does not change, the same forever), omnipresent (present everywhere at anytime - past, present, future), omnipotent (having unlimited power), omniscient (knowing everything), eternal (exists forever) and Sovereign. 

..Meaning that He has absolute power over Himself; His Kingdom is under His own control, rather than under the control of an outside authority.

He is the LORD GOD JEHOVAH! The Self Existing One. In the original Hebrew that translates to יהוה (transliterated to Jehovah) and if one is born again, He is their ever loving Heavenly Father Who is in Heaven and hallowed is His name in their heart and on their lips.

God is a Spirit

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  John 4:24 

God is a Helper

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.  Psalms 146:5–10.

Only Living God

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:” Isaiah 45:5

God is Love

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. 

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 1 John 4:7

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10

God is One

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:  Deuteronomy 6:4

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.  Ephesians 4:4–6

Eternal - The Self Existing One

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.  Psalms 139:7-10

And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you.  Exodus 3:14

I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.  Exodus 20:2-3

All Wise, All knowing

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  Romans 11:33

Omnipotent - All Powerful

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.  Genesis 17:1

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.  Isaiah 40:28

Eternal - The Self Existing One

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.  Psalms 90:2

Omnipresent

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.  Psalms 139:7-10

Immutable

For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Malachi 3:6

REDEMPTIVE NAMES OF GOD

Eloah 

(אלוהים) — The One God. 

El Shaddai 

(אל שדאי) — God Almighty

El Elyon 

(אל עליון) — God Most High

Yahweh 

(יהוה) — A different form of Jehovah with the vowels removed. In about 300 BC; the Name was regarded as too sacred to speak or write. 

Jehovah 

(יהוה) — Is the Hebrew consonants of God's name YHWH with the vowel sounds of the Hebrew word Adonai added. Jews would substitute Adonai, meaning LORD  out of reverence instead of pronouncing the sacred name directly — This practice led to the Jehovah pronunciation. 

Jehovah Jireh 

(יהוה ג'ירה) The God who sees or foresees — thus God will Provider. 

Jehovah Rapha 

(יהוה רפה) God Heals. 

Jehovah Nissi 

(יהוה ניסי) God our banner or God our victory. 

Jehovah Shalom 

(יהוה שלום) God our Salvation — meaning wholeness, completeness, welfare, and safety. 

Elohim 

(אלהים)— God — Supreme One or Mighty One. 

Adonai 

(אדונאי) Lord. 

Abba 

(אבא) — Father or Daddy. 

Emmanuel 

(עמנואל)— God with Us.
