Glory be the God— Hallelujah God is faithful to his word. And when you're faithful to his word, supernatural results take place.
Some are evil, some are false brethren; That's all there.
The Bible's warned us of these type of people. There's too many scriptures, old and New Testament, especially the New Testament, more specifically in the Epistles, where they warn us against false teachers and false brother. Yep,
Let's table that for a little bit. I want to talk about sincere brothers and sisters with their own ambition, and it's there genuine their calling, but they're so consumed about their calling that they fail to understand that they are faith consuming other people for their own ambitions.
When the anointing breaks for your ministry, there is no need for coercion. There's no need for bullying terminology. There's no need for negative manipulation. You don't have to guilt trip somebody with words like: “I need you, man. I need you here right now”.
Some people start off really good, flowing with the Holy Ghost, and somewhere along the line, they got their eyes off the Lord. They stopped acknowledging the Lord every baby step of the way. They began to think within themselves: “I got to whip something up. I got to make a great meeting again. I got to have another great word again”.
Now they are utilizing their own energies and their own natural abilities instead of letting it be supernaturally natural and naturally supernatural.
When a ministry is built by the the Lord there's peace there. There's not strife and stress.
If you're in full time ministry and you post, we're going to do something on such and such a day, and you invite your FAITH FORCE VOLUNTEERS —Praise God. A bunch of people show up where it's almost like too many people showed up.'Cause that's the anointing doing the work.
Unless the Lord builds the house, unless the Lord builds the ministry or business, the laborers, labor in vain. It tends to end in failure. A lot of times the righteous come along and receive what those who did by the arm of the flesh and then, of course, all flesh has muscle failure and is given to the Covenant children of God.
At one point history, I was going to open up a gym and call it MUSCLE FAILURE, because all the great weightlifters who work until muscle failure. Ironically, to be a success as a weightlifter or a bodybuilder was to achieve failure. Why? Because that's where you grow, and that's where you get strong.
That'll preach as well as in our FAITH LIFE, in our faith adventure; Most of the time it comes to the point where we come to it at the end of ourselves, and that's where God steps in. We are finally willing to do anything, we'll do whatever he tells us. But prior to that, we want to add our own little stuff, which is dangerous and foolish.
So we have individuals who are sincerely natural leaders. They're natural born leaders or they're supernaturally anointed leaders. And God will anoint people to help as HELP MINISTERS. Some are aspiring ministers themselves, some just love God and they have zero desire to be in leadership, but they know it's God's will. God's anointed on that individual's life and they'll work a full job of 40, 60, 80 hours a week at their job still show up, because that's the work of the Lord in their heart as their own free will offering.
Then what happens is once selfish ambition gets involved a little bit, not in an evil way, once again, I'm not talking about the false teachers. I'm not talking about the false prophets. I'm not talking about the con artists that want to exploit gullible people. I'm talking about sincere ministers. Sincere men and women of God that we can get off a little bit. We can get so ambitious to accomplish something that we exploit people, and we rationalize, well, we're doing it for the Lord.
Can you imagine someone said: “Well, you know, I committed sexual morality for the Lord. Or I committed murder for the Lord”.
No, no, that don't jive. That's not New Testament approved. Maybe in the Old Testament, you could go wack somebody in an “honor killing” and it was God. But in the New Testaments, since The Death, Burial, and Resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ honor killings are no longer ratified. You pray for your enemies. You don't kill your enemies. We don't rustle according to the flesh. We also do NOT exploit people into submission.
I never want to be the leader that's so faith consumes and uses everybody that I forget THEY have gifts and callings themselves. Where all I do is take and give nothing in return.
You know, I was at a secular job where, they didn't have enough employees to fill the schedule. And for two days, a week for a half a year, I was the only person in this particular area, in this department, in two separate units, and I was the only person for eight straight hours, bouncing back and forth, taking care of two separate units. And the boss never once showed up. He's on salary. He never showed up on his day off during those six months. I was the one that took the blame for anything that he failed to do. And I sowed that unto the Lord.
Why? I wanted the help ministers that I was. I was the assistant in that relationship. I wasn't the director. I wasn't the manager. I was an assistant. But I was fulfilling a lot of the managerial role, especially on those two days. There were times in situations where the protocols were not established. I would go to another manager for help and they would put the responsibility back on me I'm supposed to do activities, so, I’d go to the executive director and they put it right back on me. It was tempting to get frustrated, but I didn't. I just went ahead and improvised and made it happen.
Then my boss had a flare up of a certain condition, trying not to get specific to protect people’s privacy.
Then this person couldn't come to work until he got a doctor's a note. And he had to rest. He didn't believe in healing, None of that stuff was part of the equation for him. So he needed to rest in the natural. So he had to go away for a while. And guess who's running the show? Me. Now, I’m coming in on my days off. I can't show up to another obligation where I'm a contract player to do studio work for a ministry. And I'm covering for the situation. Six months of doing two people's work. I'm exhausted. I'm literally toast by Friday night.
By the time the review comes every year,
Remember, this is the world now, a secular job. I'm not looking to the world. I sowed it unto the Lord. Because I want to reap me when I'm in the senior position. Praise God. I want me and my wife to show up. Faithful, quiet. I'm not usurping any authority. I do what I'm told. And even when I get punished for doing what I'm told, I just take it on the chin and forgive. I don't want to be like those people, but if I do make a mistake, I want me to be my subordinate. Because we reap what we sow. That's a granddaddy's spiritual law.
So during the review, what did I get? “You got to step up”. From the guy who I covered for over half a year, tells me I got to step up. You think my flesh would want to go, “Excuse me? I need you to step up, bucko”. But no, I just sit there and go, okay, I'm going to keep my mouth shut, nod. I was transitioning. I was kind of in two separate departments at that time and transitioning full time into this other department. So that years review I had one supervisor of my old department on sitting on one side, and I got the other department supervisor on the other side — both are either incompetent or are immoral, unethical bullies. For two straight years, no absentees, no, no infractions except for some bogus thing that the old supervisor tried to write me up on, and God worked that out because I got Divine favor of my life. I forgive that person. They were an immoral an unethical bully, but for some weird reason, the executive boss decided to keep her on staff. Unfortunately she's left a lot of people in her wake. I don't judge. I forgive, I forgive, I forgive. But I live in reality. And I know what to sow to and what not to sow to.
So we have this dynamic of sowing faithfulness to an ungrateful, arrogant, even incompetent leadership. But there's no excuses to go backsliding or quit in an unrighteous way. Just smile, nod.: “You got it, boss”. Then, go before the Lord Go over their heads before the Lord. Say: Father, I forgive them. Promotion comes from You, whether You grant me promotion within this organization/ministry or you bypass this organization/ministry and You put me into another organization or You establish me in my own organization. I know it comes from You. I'm working heartily unto You, Master. And I know I reap what I sow”.
So you might get into a scenario, a situation where you are you have these unrighteous seniors. There's a lot of strife in the Body of Christ, simply because of people getting promoted above their character development and the stewardship of leadership isn’t handled in a Christ-like manner.
It's why REDEMPTIONCORPS INTERNATIONAL training Program focuses on servanthood, stewardship, communications, administration, and executive leadership. Because all those areas, if skipped and individuals run ahead of their preparatory period they will have bad fruit in the area of applied ministry.
They eventually will say: “I'll do whatever I want”, which is foolish. You need to, like I said earlier, on every baby step acknowledged the Lord and to focus on what the Lord's telling you to do.
As a subordinate, you get put under people like this, and dare I say this, you're not going to like it. I don't like it in the flesh. But God will led us to go through that situation? What? Yeah!
Now, I'm not talking about the abusive situations. I'm not talking about, sexual molestation. I'm not talking about immoral unethical leadership trying to get you to lie, cheat, steal, manipulate. No, you need to flee those people. If a leadership wants you to violate the absolutes that are in Christ Jesus, you need to leave. The only way you can deal with these people is to get away from them. They need to have a mass exodus from their ministry and maybe, maybe, by the grace of God, they'll come to their senses and realize,“I need to treat people better. I need to repent”. If they are even genuinely called of God to be head of the ministry. This is why we do not talk bad about anyone — NEVER NAME NAMES. God could restore the brother or sister and our own mouths could be hindering what God wanted to do with us and with them. It’s beautiful to see repentance and reconciliation.
Yes, God's first. And we should love God to the point where, you know, unless you hate your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, your children, and on, on. In relationship to our love for the Lord, we we hate other people, but still God wants us to love those people in the Light OF JESUS.
My whole life is about sowing to others, sowing to good soil. I never want to be top heavy in my life in ministry. How do we stop being top heavy, first of all?
Seek first the Kingdom of God and tithe your time, your talent. and your money. It’s the only treasure in this life to freely give God and when we put all the sacrificial offerings that the Mosaic covenant commanded the child of Israel It's about 30%, which most people can't even handle the 10%, but in reality, when you are in love with The Lord Jesus Christ all of you belongs to Him and living for giving is in the DNA of a born again child of God whom is Love. What I receive goes out to the Lord, either through the local church or to brothers and sisters, even to those who are lost in the form of alms (mercy giving).
Being led by the Lord. That'll keep you from being top heavy. If I have $100 million dollars. I’d tithe 10%. But I'm still top heavy. I'm going to be still loving and sowing out of my own free will offering because I know — whatever I sow, that shall I also reap. This is not some obligation. The tithe belongs to the Lord, but the offerings are my own free will.
There are things that didn't survive The Death, Burial, and Resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ from the Old Testament to the New Testament, or the Old Covenant to the New Covenant. We still derive a lot of sensibility and we love the whole Word of God. which will make us appreciate all the more the New Testament.
So my whole life is giving, giving, giving, but here's the word. Here's why I started this message, we're not called to martyrdom, our gifts and callings for other people.
There's a lot of type A personalities out there that are so preoccupied by their own selfish ambition for the Lord. They will do whatever it takes — moral or immoral It's for their calling to the degree that they will forget those faithful people who were serving five, seven, 10 years, and even 20 years or more. And they will take and take, and take, and they take, to the degree that they get codependent on those supporters and help ministers, which I never want to do. I never want to be the person that forgets my junior's gifts and callings. I never want to take them for granted, and I never want to assume they're always going to be with me. There might be a few that are lifers. called to help. And that's their free will choice to submit to or not.
Any ministry that violates “free will choice”, I guarantee you have demonic influence in those individuals. If it comes out of their mouth, they're demonically swayed. And of course, out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So what's in their heart is demonically influenced. It takes a demon to of rape someone else's free will choice to submit. It's the hallmark of all ministries or occult religion. You no longer have free will choice. They say: “I'm the guru that represents God to you and you can only do what I tell you to do. Forget what's in your heart. forget what the Holy Spirits says. I outranked the Holy Spirit, and I'm going to tell you that you're going to do this or that for the next 20 years. And there are people who are stupid enough to submit to that nonsense.
Even with righteous men & women of God, who are ahead of their own ministry, you will see “faith consumption” to the degree that they're so preoccupied trying to make their ministry happen that they will take and take and take from other people and completely forget what their Pastoral responsibilities are.
Even if you're not called to be a pastor, if you got help ministers, helping you, in their own freewill offering, and they're not even on your payroll, you still have a pastoral responsibility with their life. to make sure they're not neglecting their gifts in Callings and you will give an account for that.
I never want to get so selfishly ambitious that I totally forget other people have their own destiny to fulfill with God. That selfish ambition can creep in with the best people.
